Hallmark HIPs works with agents selling houses mainly within the geographical area of B&NES and Wiltshire and surrounding areas. As a guide, see the map on this site showing our area of operation.
We build on local links between businesses who know and trust each other. Our easy to use web portal is accessible anywhere, so agents can update themselves on the progress of a HIP they have ordered at any time.
Our strength lies in the fact that our member solicitors are accessible and will participate actively in the creation of a HIP, including advice as to any useful information which should be included additional to the mandatory or authorised elements.
Independence
Hallmark HIPS is a private limited company, set up by eight well-established solicitors and surveyors based in B&NES (Bath and North East Somerset) and Wiltshire. Almost all our agent members are independent businesses.
Our strength lies in our ability as a HIP provider to take account of the views and needs of our members and develop our products accordingly, without dictating to them how they should conduct their business (unlike some national HIP providers).

Quality Assured
Using only experienced home inspectors and lawyers with a good understanding of the market at all levels Hallmark HIPs maintains strict control of the speed and content of its HIPs.
HIP production is powered by software and technical support supplied by MDA Advantage, an international company with vast experience of providing IT to the property industry. It manages the very successful Land Registry hub and supplies a large percentage of searches currently undertaken by conveyancers.
The Hallmark HIP system is easy to use and covered by full training, back up and support for agents and the Hallmark HIP carries a warranty as to its content.
Hallmark HIPs benefits from the fact that MDA is a member of the Association of Home Information Pack Providers (AHIPP).
